Takegawa 5 speed Transmission and Manual Clutch Complete Kit
Complete kit allows you to convert your XR50R from a 3 speed clutchless transmission to a 5 speed manual clutch transmission.
The Takegawa special clutch is designed specifically for use with the 3 or 5 speed transmission. The Takegawa special clutch moves the clutch from the crankshaft to the mainshaft which greatly reduces strain on the crankshaft and increases throttle response. The clutch also comes with a paper type oil filter and oil site window.
If you are building a bike for use on the street we recommend the 5 speed transmission and if you plan on riding/racing in the dirt we recommend the 3 speed transmission.
Gear Ratios
- 1st: 2.357 (stock 1st gear: 3.272)
- 2nd: 1.611 (stock 2nd gear: 1.666)
- 3rd: 1.190 (stock 3rd gear: 1.190)
- 4th: 0.958
- 5th: 0.807
