The Foes Works chassis is designed for Shimano or Hayes bicycle brakes. Foes believes that these brakes provide more than enough stopping power based on the size of the wheels being used. Full size big bike calipers are too bulky and are by far too powerful for 10" / 12" wheels. Extra brake parts such as pads, housing or fluid are easily accessible from your local bicycle shop.
