Takegawa 124cc Super Head +R Bore & Stroke Up Kit - Honda XR/CRF50
Completely redesigned and improved is the new superhead +R. It’s hard to believe that Takegawa could improve on the old superhead but they have with 10-20% HP gains over the previous superhead.
Some of the improvements and features include:
- Roller Rocker arms
- Forged aluminum roller tip rockers reduce friction which allows the rocker tip to follow the cam more smoothly. Reduced friction equals a more powerful, more reliable engine.
Enhanced Cylinder head Design
Die cast O-ring seal covers, and more effi cient design make room for the all new larger intake and exhaust valves and improved intake and exhaust port shape. Valve angles have also been changed, and each superhead +R features Titanium valve spring retainers.
New Cam Design
An entirely new cam design has been developed for the new superhead +R, you can even change it without removing the rocker arms.
Ceramic Coated Cylinder
The ceramic-coated cylinder reduces friction greatly over conventional designs. The new coating allows for tighter piston to wall clearance that improves performance and durability.
