Takegawa R-Stage +D 88cc Combo Kit (PE24 Carb) - Honda CRF/XR50
Takegawa was hard at work this year, and has improved on one of our best selling engine kits the R stage +D.
We have seen more than a 10% hP improvement over the previous R stage kit. some of the improvements include:
Decompressor Camshaft
The new R stage camshaft has a decompressor mechanism much like modern MX 4 strokes, that allows for easy starting. Easier starting means less load on the transmission, and kick start shaft and a more reliable engine package.
Enhanced Cylinder head Design
The internal shape of the R stage +D exhaust ports have been enhanced and improved. Valve angles have also been changed to improve performance and help make room for the larger valves.
- Titanium Valve spring Retainers
- New on the R stage +D are lightweight titanium valve spring retainers.
